Winding Creek's Carrera

Winding Creek's Carrera is almost the identical color to her sire, Spartan's Silver-Lining. Just like a fine wine, as she ages the dark rose grey color is becoming more apparent. Her first fleece had amazing length, fineness, soft handle and consistent crimp structure. She has a nice square frame just like both parents.

Caress's amazing sire, Spartan's Silver-Lining has 13 championship banners and 18 blue ribbons...and counting! He carries bright, dark silver fleece that is fine, full of character with amazing crimp and architecture. His amazing results in the show ring were not a surprise as you will find amazing linage in his background such as Crystal Spartan, Black Mesquite and Jericho further back.

Carrera's dam, Grand River Jasmin, is a ribbon winner herself. Her linage is full of TB genetics such as Grand River Jet Stream who was out of STF Jetson so its no surprise that she has a decent show career back in her day. Jason is an attentive mom with an excellent milk supply.

Carrera has a rough start in her show career as the show ring was very intimidating and she didn't quite behave on the lead at first. With some work and practice she now knows how to act for the judges! At MAPACA Jubilee 2018, Carrera placed 3rd in a class of 8. She was a tad smaller than other females in her class and judge Kathy Klay said all of her energy has been going into her amazing long, silly fleece. She also took 4th at the Mapaca Gala again in a class of 8. We are beefing her up currently and she is filling out nicely. Add her to your Fall 2018 showstring because we can only imagine how amazing the second fleece is going to develop.
